Our Seattle Beginning
John-Dean Dettwiller got his start in the Pacific Northwest, where he learned the ins and outs of both home and commercial painting. He grew up in the trade, picking up the high standards and honest hard work passed down through his family's long history in the biz.
Moving to Colorado
In 2017, John-Dean brought his two decades of experience out to Denver. He started JDD Painting to give home & business owners the kind of dependable, top-tier service he was raised on, making sure every job is done right the first time.
Local Family Tradition

Here is what to expect when you hire us and how we handle the supplies for your job.
What kind of paint do you guys usually use?
We mostly stick with Sherwin Williams because it is reliable, but we are happy to use whatever brand you like best. If you have a specific favorite, just let us know and we will grab it.
How long will it take to finish my project?
Every house is different, but a standard indoor job usually takes us about 3 to 5 days. We will give you a clear timeline before we even crack open the first can of paint.
Will there be a big mess during the work?
We take prep work seriously. We fix up holes, clean the surfaces, and keep your floors and furniture covered up. We also make sure to tidy up the workspace at the end of every day.
Do you stand behind the work you finish?
We sure do. We provide a 1-year warranty on our labor because we believe in doing a solid job that lasts for you.
Can you work while we are at home?
Usually that is no problem at all. We are used to working around families and daily routines, keeping things clean and quiet so you can go about your day while we get to work.
